Happy Easter

Happy Easter!!!!

We are so thankful for this time of year and love our Savior.  We are so happy that we have a Savior to follow and be led by his example.  We love him and thankful to be a family!

We enjoyed being together this Easter.  We took the kids to a Easter Egg hunt, made Easter cookies, dyed eggs, Easter Bunny came, and even went to our friends house for dinner.

There is nothing better than an Eternal Family! Families can be together forever! Happy Easter!

Flooded Kitchen

What???? There goes the Kerestes Kitchen. Yup!!! We weren't expecting this one.  OK it was a huge surprise.  Our outside spicket burst flooding our kitchen.  We had so much water everywhere.  We hurried as fast as we could to clean it all up but water was under our hardwood floor, cabinets, sink, and our wall.  We had to call insurance.  They had a clean up crew come over and gut our kitchen.  They used fans to dry it out.  After a week the kitchen was finally dried.  It was worse than we thought.  Now, we will have to put it all back together.  How do we survive without a kitchen and no sink? YIKES! I think it will be a long 5 weeks.

I love my boys!! I brought home a huge truck load of mulch and they came to give me a helping hand.  My favorite part is the mulch was blowing in Kody's eyes so he took care of that problem.  He went in the house and came back out wearing goggles!  My smart kid!! I never knew laying mulch in my flower beds could be so much fun!

April Fool's Day

Happy April Fool's Day!!!

I had so much fun this year for April Fool's Day.  I made meatloaf cupcakes, potato ice cream cones, and cake french fries.  I fooled Kamden the very most.  He was adorable and made it all worth it.  I served  him and he said, Mom you are serving us dessert for dinner? This is the best dinner ever! He then took a lick of his ice cream cone and said, Mom this isn't ice cream.  It was so funny!!!  I told him Happy April Fool's Day!

Color Run

Kallee and Mike did the funnest and happiest 5K in the world, The Color Run!  They had the best time together and Kallee loved running through all the chalk stations.  She crossed the finish line wearing a lot of beautiful color.  After the race, they had a little color party and even threw up more chalk color.  We have never seen a race as cool and as much fun as this one.  Kallee loved it so much and is already looking forward to next year's Color Run.

Happy St. Patricks Day!!!

This year I made corned beef and cabbage along with rainbow bread, and rainbow cupcakes.  After we ate dinner we played St. Patricks Day Bingo and don't eat Lucky.  We had a lot of fun celebrating this special day.  I know my boys favorite part was pinching!
