MUCH MUCH THANKS

I forgot something very important when I was doing the blog. I just want to give my thanks for Grandma and Grandpa Kerestes for flying out and helping us out so much with our house. We could of never done it without you. They helped us paint the entire house except for 2 baths. They also helped us move out of our apartment and into our new home. There was so much work to do but with their help we did it. I just want to thank them so much for giving of their time and serving our family. We enjoyed the time with them and appreciate them. Thanks a ton for helping make our new home ours!

Another thing, Our family has been so blessed with this new chapter in our life. We finally were able to close the last chapter and start a new one. We no longer own our home in Christiansburg and everything is finalized. We are moved in and excited to be here. Our Heavenly Father blessed and watched over us so much. We had a lot of fun times with the move but a lot of very hard times. In those hard times we knew we had to rely more on our Heavenly Father and through all our faith we are finally all together as a family. Mike's 10 week training up in Allentown is all done and his team is all here in North Carolina.

Volvo took very good care of us with hotels, food, buying our house, and even letting us stay in an apartment. Thanks so much and we know Mike we do a great job and benefit the company.

But we could never had done it without our Heavenly Father and Savior. We know the gospel is true and it is the only way. By following it we have been super blessed and very thankful.

Halloween Memories

Halloween at the Kerestes House is Spookin Fun! Mom just loves this Holiday who knows it is probably for all the yummy candy. She has the biggest sweet tooth for candy in the whole house but is rubbing off onto Four really cute little K kids. Who know's who that is and even Daddy likes it every now and then Oh wait it even rubbed off onto him. But we just love going Trick or Treating. This year Mom took the kids around for a little while and then Dad took over and had the best time with the kids. He loved watching how excited they got everytime they got received a treat. While they were out Mom stayed home and passed out candy. We had 175 Trick or Treaters this year. We kept track. We loved it and had fun seeing all the cute kids in costumes.
We also went to our ward Trunk or Treat but got rained out so everybody picked a room to decorate. Our family loves to go all out and see everyone smile when they see our room. It brightens a lot of faces. We won for the best decked out!
The kids school also had a fall festival which was awesome! We played games and the prizes were amazing. The kids had a blast. Kallee's favorite was making crafts. Kyle's favorite was playing the bean bag game and so was Kody's. Baby's favorite was winning all the candy and even popcorn. He thought that was awesome!
We couldn't let a year slide by without carving pumpkins. We were a day late with those but you know at least we got to it. With our move and trying to hard to get caught up we didn't quite make that one but we did have fun. Mom for the first time had to have Dad duck tape the back of her kyle's pumpkin. She tried cutting out a VT for Kyle but after she was done he was like what is that???? I wasn't sure my self so dad tape it up and Mom carved BYU out of the other side. You couldn't even tell. We all laughed though.
We had fun as a family and will always cherish the fun moments. We will also enjoy all that yummy candy!

Halloween FUN!

Look at all that candy! WOW! Daddy loves to take the kids around the neighborhood for Trick or Treating. Kody and Kamden loved it. They were so cute holding their little buckets walking up to the door and saying Trick or Treat. They couldn't believe by just saying those words such wonderful rewards come. Boy I hope you two will share with your favorite mom and dad.
Kallee had a blast with her dad taking her around the neighborhood. She went as fast as she could. When the little boys were tired he put them in the double stroller and pushed them while Kallee and Kyle went fast. Kallee was so excited for all that candy and it will be all gone in about a week. She has her mom's sweet tooth but can eat it all and won't even phase her with all her gymnastics workouts. I guess working out for 24 hours a week has a pay off. Don't we all wish we could do that one!

Kyle also had a blast with Dad. He was so proud of all his candy and let me tell you he won't share either unless you PAY. Can you believe that????But it's all good because he doesn't like a lot of the good stuff so guess who gets to eat that.....mom and dad. Kyle is different than Kallee who eats all her candy in a week or so. He savors it and slowly eats a piece or two. Believe it or not I found a stash in his draw in his bedroom that was over 6 months old. I mean a huge stash. He is awesome and just super proud of all that candy. He already is planning for next year and says he is going to get even more!

Happy Halloween!

Kody Adam Kerestes

Here is a picture of our cute little Kody in his new Root Beer Hat he is so proud of. He loves wearing hats and loves to collect them.

Anytime Kody hears Mom in the kitchen he comes running. He may not be the biggest eater or like food as much as his dad and baby Kamden but he loves to cook it. He does a really good job and helps until the meal is all finished. Here we made Halloween Sugar Cookies that I made with my mom when I was a little girl. We love to make them and most of all eat them. Daddy can't stop eating them and we know when they are all gone who did it. He does have some competition with Kallee though. WOW she can put them down as well. We had a lot of fun!

Halloween Fun with Spookin K'S

Leave it to our daughter KALLEE!

Look at her beautiful hair. We can't believe how long it is and it's so healthy. But we have to cut it for gymnastics. Her coaches finally told us it is to long. Everytime she flips it smacks her in the face. So yeah I guess it is time to have a little hair cutting. But we only cut off about 4 inches because Kallee loves her long hair and is known for her beautiful hair. So we will see if it passes the coaches inspection. If not Kallee will be coming to Mom's beauty salon again!
This is a very funny story and like I said leave it to Kallee. While Kyle and I where waiting for her to finish Gymnastics we were passing the football. Well she walks out and tells Kyle to give her a pass. Well, it hit her finger and jammed it. Worse of all she couldn't believe she missed it. Her finger swelled up and turned black and blue. Try to be a gymnast with a jammed finger isn't to fun. But she is still working out and can't wait to have it heal. We love ya Kallee and her daddy said, That's my Girl.

Kyle playing football!

We have taken time out of our house for some fun and here is Kyle playing flag football for his first time ever! I tell you what wow he did great! He caught several passes and ran several yards. On his last game of the season he even ran a TOUCH DOWN! He played all 8 games and had a wonderful season! Watch out he may be small but he has his mother's toughness! Here comes Kyle!
Kyle on the bench waiting to go back in! Look at him think like a real athlete!

For the awards ceremony Upward invited Mike Minter from the Panthers to be their guest speaker. Kyle thought it was so cool and so did his DAD! They were excited to meet him and even sign a few things. Kyle don't worry you will be there someday. Keep up all the hard work and it won't be long. Great season and we love you tons!

Make-over touches but still more to go!

This is the boy's new room! They are super excited to be in their own bed at night!
Kyle helped pick out the blue color paint for his room! Kody and Kamden both O.K. his choice. I think because he did a good job!

Here is our princess room.....Kallee. She wanted something different than purple from her last room so she went with pink and brown. She likes it and loves being in her new room.

The kids liked the idea of the stripe but it wasn't to easy. But with Grandpa and Grandma Kerestes help we figured it out and did it. It for sure took a lot longer but was worth it in the end. We had a lot of laughs trying to figure out how to get all those lines perfectly straight. Kallee and Kyle like having something similar about their rooms.

Sneak Peek at the new improved Kelso Home!

Happy Boys!

Kody and Kamden still smiling after all the hard work we have done! They made our day. After hours of painting from sun up until sun down their little smiles put a big smile on all of us! They where so good for us while we painted. They always seemed to find something to do and only found the paint a couple of times. They wanted to leave their mark because everyone else's was painting. So here is our two little happy boys!

Lots of unpacking but having fun still!

Out with the Old and in with the New

There was two of this light fixture upstairs but no more!
This was our entry hall light fixture but goodbye!!!

Last but not least our dinning room light fixture but we once again have to say goodbye! It is just not our style.

Hard Work at the new Kelso Home

Good Bye Christiansburg, Virginia

This was our final goodbye to our home in Christiansburg, Virginia. The movers came and packed up all our stuff. We finished cleaning and will always remember all the wonderful memories in our house. We had the best 4 years here but now look forward to our new beginning.
Our beautiful view from our backyard!
