Aunt Jessica's Origami

A touch of my sister's hands to make a difference in the world through her origami talent. My sister this year made 70 origami's for my primary children at church along with all the families for Operation Elf. Every Christmas we have a tree at the entrance of the chapel for all the families to pick off an ornament (origami) to purchase a gift for a children who has no or little Christmas this year. The families will purchase this gift and bring it to us at Primary. My counselor and I will drop all the gifts off at the social service center for all the children at Christmas. My sister sat and made all these special origami's for the children and families to take and purchase a gift and then in return hang their origami on their Christmas tree as a reminder of the gift of giving at Christmas time.

I know my sister spent hours making all 70 origami's. The origami was absolutely beautiful. All the little folds and colors of paper is amazing. I know how many lives will be touched by my sisters own two hands. Thanks so much for sharing your special talent with our entire ward and many other families. We love you so much and still can't believe you mailed us 70 origami all the way from Wyoming clear across the country to be with us at Christmas time! What a special sister you are to me and wonderful aunt to my kids!

Kyle honored at last football game

Kyle's broken leg has been a wonderful loving story by so much support and love! Even though Kyle was in so much pain for several weeks and unable to play football he still had a strong heart. With all the many people who loved and supported him only made his heart stronger. He was super blessed and many cool stories he has to tell his own children. I asked Kyle what he learned and he said,"Even though I wasn't able to play I still went to all the practices and supported my team. I started something with my coach Dad and we both wanted to finish the football season. So I did it. For 8 weeks I went to all the practices along with all the Saturday games. It made me feel so good and all the people really helped me along the way!" For Kyle's determination at the last football game at half time they gave him the most dedicated player trophy. It was so awesome and it brought tears to my eyes as his dad wheeled him out in his wheelchair. He is a great kid and as a mom I appreciated everyone's love and support.

Fall Walk

Early Sunday morning before church the boys and I went for a fall walk. I just love this time of year here. It is absolutely beautiful. All the leaves are brilliant in color and best of all the weather feels so good! Happy Fall!!!

Kamden's Early Birthday Party

Kamden this year asked me for a friend birthday party. So I asked him who he wanted to invite and he told me his friends. So....I asked him who his friends were and he said, "Dallin, Corbin, and Mia." I then asked him what kind of party he wanted to have. He said, "Dinosaurs!"

This year we are going to be out of town for his birthday so my kids didn't have school on friday. The perfect birthday party day. We invited our friends and gave him a party. He was all smiles and new this was his special day.

We played dino games, broke dino eggs, ate pizza, cupcakes, and opened presents. He also colored everyone a dino and glued it on a bag. Then he went to the dollar store and picked out what surprises he wanted to give everyone. He then came home and put all the surprises in the dino bag. They turned out really cute. I had so much doing this with him!

Happy Birthday Kamden....I can't believe your almost 4. It has been the best 4 years seeing your sweet little spirit. You are a great kid and always kind. We love you so much and glad to have you in our family!

Kamden's Early Birthday Party

Halloween candy

OH YEAH BABY!!!!!!!!! No wonder why I like Halloween so much! I love love love candy.

Kyle's big stash of candy after Trick or Treating on Halloween!

Kamden's Stash....he loves to separate all his candy into different piles. He says he is organizing his candy. It takes him a while. He then checks it all out and then put it into this icecream bucket. He was super happy to get so much candy.

Kallee even had fun this year Trick or Treating. She dressed up and went with her brothers. Believe it or not this will all be gone in a couple of days. Thanks to good work outs from gymnastics and my sweet tooth! She loves loves loves candy too!

Halloween Night

TRICK OR TREAT FROM DARTH VADER!!!!

Halloween Night

Halloween Day....After school the kids carved pumpkins.

Ready to go Trick or Treating

Kamden drew his own pumpkin face out and carved it all by himself. He had so much fun he drew another face on the another side and cut that face out as well. He did such a great job. I was amazed that he didn't ruin it or even cut something that he wasn't suppose to. Yes...he did use safety pumpkin knives to do this! I think he did so good because of all his cutting that he does. Maybe someday he will grow up to be a surgeon?

Ward Trunk or Treat

Our trunk for the Trunk or Treat!

Ward Trunk or Treat

Our Primary put this year Ward Trunk or Treat on....We had a lot of fun planning for this event. We decided as a primary presidency to have a carnival for the children followed by a costume parade and then the trunk or treating. So all four of us (Primary Presidency each thought of 3 games to prepare. I did bean bag ghost toss, ghost bowling, and Halloween cupcake walk. I had a lot of fun preparing.
At each station when the children played the game they received a ticket. When they had 12 tickets they could cash them in for a ghost rootbeer with candy and prizes. I made 120 of these ghost rootbeer bags. Kallee helped me so we laughed together and just enjoyed being together. All the kids loved getting their prizes.

Here is the ghost bean bag toss I made!

Our family dressed up for the ward trunk or treat as Star War characters.

Family Halloween Party

Every year I always do a preschool Halloween Party during the morning of a school day. But this year I thought it would be fun to have a family Halloween party so my whole family could spend this special moment together. So that is exactly what I did. I invited 8 families over Saturday evening for chili, cornbread, Halloween punch, and everyone brought a Halloween treat to share. We ate lots of fun food and I played games with the kids. We all had a blast together. Our house was decorated as a Haunted House and we were all dressed up in our Halloween costumes. For the party treat favors we made pumpkin lanterns stuffed with treats and Halloween toys to thank everyone for coming to our party. We had a wonderful time as a family and thankful to have so many wonderful friends in our town. Happy Halloween everyone!
Little boys won't stay little forever...but this stage of their life I am enjoying so much. They are so happy and smiley. Every morning they wake up together and come down the stairs with a huge smile on their face ready to play and have fun for another day. These two little guys are best friends and are glued together at the hips. They go to bed together and wake up at the same time! I will never forget this fun stage and love every minute.

This year they were super excited for Halloween and especially dressing up together as their favorite movie star wars. They both looked so cute and when they put on their costumes their imagination played out as star wars. They got out their light savers and played star wars together. Then they were so excited when the party began!!!

Star War Costumes

Look at our little Mini Star Storm Troopers!

Check this out....even Mike dressed up as Darth Vader! Kody and Kamden thought their Dad was the coolest dad in the whole world dressing up with them. At first, when they saw him they couldn't believe their eyes. They were like WOW you really look just like him. It was so much fun!

Mom was suppose to be Padme but her costume didn't come yet so she dressed up as a Skeleton for the Family Halloween party.

Kamden was super adorable this Halloween. Every morning he would wake up he would ask me if it was time to wear his Star Wars Costume. He could hardly wait. The day finally came for our family halloween Party and he was excited. He put on his costume and was so proud to be a Star Wars dude!Look how cute! A mini star wars dude!
