Kallee's Gymnastic Meet Flip Fest

Kallee's Level 8 Meet at Flip Fest Knoxville, Tn

Kallee's cheerleading brothers after the meet congratulating Kallee for her wonderful meet!
To be honest there was times Mike and I said," What were we thinking" driving 5 hours to Knoxville to sit at a meet for 5 hours wake up early and head back 5 hours so Mom could get to Primary. Normally, it wouldn't have been so tough but Kody has double ear infection and Kamden also has an ear infection. So let me just say a 4 and 3 year old with ear infections wasn't to pleasant. I only have to type this to remember all our gymnastic journeys. But we were so glad we did it in the end because Kallee had her best Gymnastic meet ever and as far as parenthood goes the toughest meet ever!!!!!!!! The whole time Kamden cried!!!! We waited over an hour for Kallee to be on beam and sure enough right when she went to go Kamden started crying. I wasn't going to miss her so I am sure she heard her brother. But there is no way I am going to miss her event!
But now we just look back and laugh! I know sometime we will miss those crying boys!!!!!!! Because our kids are growing up way to fast!!

Kallee's scores BARS: 9.475 (2nd place) VAULT:9.150 (3rd Place) BEAM 8.925 (2nd Place) FLOOR 9.425 (1st Place) Taking 1st ALL AROUND IN HER AGE GROUP ANd 1st PLACE OUT OF ALL LEVEL 8 IN HER SESSION!!!

She received 5 metals, a trophy for ALL AROUND, and Balloon Trophy for ALL AROUND in LEVEL 8!!!!

Kallee saluting for taking 3rd place on vault!
Look at the cool balloon decoration above Kallee. A pefessional Balloon artist decorated the convention center. It was amazing balloon work. We loved it!!!

Kallee was also suppose to compete on Sunday and you all know Kallee will not compete on Sunday by her choice which as parents we are so proud of her. So she talked with her coaches and they moved her to a different level 8 session while her team mates of level 10 competing at the same time but a different floor. So the coaches would help the level 10's then come to her and help her out. But they were so wonderful and made sure a coach was with her at all times. The cool part was they were all cheering her on and so excited for her when she did so well. She understood what it felt like to have private coaches at meets. She loved all the attention. Thanks COACHES! YOU GUYS ROCK!

Primary

Mom is super excited about Primary and the new theme for the year.....The Scriptures are True!!!!! So really wanted to get all the Primary kids just as excited as she is so her and her presidency went to work. We had a blast getting ready to introduce this new theme.
For starters I made 75 Scripture Reading Charts so the kids could mark off each day they read their scriptures. At the end of the month each child will receive a sticker to put on that page. Just to keep them fired up about reading and to let teachers and us know how everyone is doing.
I laminated the front and back cover and put them all together. So far my boys are loving them and it is really helping them be excited to read.
We also puffed painted each child's name on a scripture bag and put their name on their Book of Mormon. We handed them out when we introduced the new theme in primary. We even made invitations for all parents to come join us.

I also modge pod Happy Birthday Blocks for all the Primary Kids! My secretary's husband cut me out all the blocks! Thanks Karl!

My counselor also created a theme keychain for each month. She put the theme along with the scripture for the month, and on the back a picture to go with it. We copied it off and 12 different colors of paper for each month. We laminated them all, cut them out, and punched holes into them. At the beginning of each month we will hand out the new keychain for the month.
I have the best Presidency and Secretary ever!!!! I had big hopes and dreams for our Primary and without their help I could never accomplishment it. I have been so blessed with this calling and let me tell you......These little kids have really touched my life. Along with all my presidency, teachers, activity day leaders, and scout leaders. I appreciate all their help and love. They are the best.
Primary ROCKS and its one of my favorite places to be!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mom and Baby

Kamden has been doing this thing when he eats up at the bar table he likes to sit on my lap. This picture here I was recovering from the pneunoia and he was so excited to be able to get back on mt lap. He also loves to eat oranges. But they have to be cut just this way or it's not right. We love you so much BABY Kamden and enjoy your sweet spirit.

Christmas Snow

The kids actually didn't play out in the snow on Christmas day but the next day!!!! They were to busy playing and doing lots of other things. But when they opened their eyes up they where ready to head up!!! They were all out before I knew it! They love snow! We had snow all day long on Christmas Day. It was beautiful and really set the mood. We couldn't believe it snowed all day long where we live!!!! It started at 9:00 am and snowed all day long and into the night. It was big huge beautiful flakes. So ontop of it being Christmas the kids were even more excited to see snow outside.

Kody and Kyle sledding down our drive way on dad's sled when he was a kid.

Kamden loves the snow and just walked around happy as could be.

Christmas Day Snow!!!!!

Christmas Morning

The boys love their new ball pit from Grandpa and Grandma Kerestes! When they all saw this they were screaming and jumping all around. Their favorite toy of course is balls. So this was of course just perfect! Thanks so much for thinking of us at Christmas!

Kamden was super cute on Christmas morning. He woke up and was so happy and new exactly what day it was. The day he could finally open up all his packages under the tree. So he ran downstairs and started opening all his packages. He loved finding all the surprises inside. This package he received a camal water backpack. Just what he wanted when he goes camping and hiking this summer. He was pretending to slurp the water out. He had the biggest smile all day. I know he also knew it was a special day. A day to celebrate the birth of our Savior!

Kody also was super excited for Christmas morning. In fact, every morning he woke up he would ask me how many more days until Christmas. We had a couple of advent calendars but that didn't work for Kody. Some how the items would disapear a little faster than they were suppose to. In hopes that when they were all gone Christmas would be here. We had a life Saver advent calendar and a chocolate advent calendar. But he sure had fun with them and finally on this day I could tell him it was the day. His whole face sparkeled and he was the happiest little boy ever.

He also received a water camel backpack for this summer from Grandpa and Grandma Cottrell. He loves it and can't wait to put it to use. Thanks so much!

The boys love legos! In this package that is exactly what they found! Merry Christmas boys! They had a great day playing all day and even staying in their PJ'S as well. Their favorite part was putting all their bionicles together, star war legos, car legos, playing in their ball pit, and playing new games santa brought. They also loved eating left over Christmas Eve food and were very HAPPY!

Kallee could hardly wait either for Christmas. She wanted a i touch I pod like crazy. So she saved up all her birthday money along with every penny she could. She asked all her grandparents for money for christmas. So she wasn't sure if she would be getting one or not. To her surprise she found one wrapped in her spot. Mom and Dad had it already SYNC so it was ready to go. Also, she found a $50 gift card to ITUNES thanks to Santa standing in a walmart line at 3 in the morning. He new the deal....buy any ipod and receive a $50 gift card. She was sooo happy and she also remember the true meaning of this day. She was so happy to celebrate the Savior's birth. Merry Christmas!

Christmas Eve

Christmas Baking

Along with Christmas comes lots of good cooking! Our family loves to make candy, cookies, and lots of special things that we only make at christmas time. This year mom didn't quite get as much baked because she had the pneunonia (hope I spelled that right). She had to be in the hospital and it took a few days to recover. But once she was up we baked as much as we could.
One of our tradition's is we make a birthday cake for Jesus Birthday. On Christmas day we put candles in it and sing Happy Birthday to Jesus. The kids love doing this because this is what Christmas is all about!
Kody's most favorite treat at Christmas is dipping homemade peanut butter balls and pretzels into yummy chocolate. He sat up at the table and helped me dip until we ran out of chocolate. He is a very picky eater but let me tell you.....He loves this. He ate so much we thought he would have a belly ache. But instead he ran around and could hardly wait for Santa to come!

Christmas Fun

Kerestes Family Gingerbread houses!
Each year we like to make and decorate gingerbread houses out of grahm crackers, icing, and lots of yummy candy. We had a lot of fun and the kids did a great job.

It's Christmas Time

It is Christmas Time and our kids are sooooooo excited this year! We found the perfect tree which ended up being our biggest tree ever! We had so much fun decorating and putting the lights on it. It turned out so pretty with Aunt Jessica's Origami that she makes us each year. our tree is actually just balls and her origami. It is really neat! So thanks Aunt Jessica!!!
Kerestes Boys at Christmas Time!

Check this out both Kody and Kamden sat on Santa's lap! They loved it and of course this made it so much more exciting!

Bulletin Boards

This year at Kyle's school I have been volunteering at the school to help his teacher and change the PTA Bulletin board. I enjoy this and especially seeing Kyle. Kody and Kamden always come along and enjoy this as well.

Crakin Nuts

This is a funny story about my boys. So it's Christmas time and they all saw NUTCRACKERS. I explained what they were so of course they got a great idea to try crakin their own. So Mike and I drove them to the store where we let them pick out a variety of different nuts to try. Then we came home and started crakin them. We all laughed so hard because it's not easy to do. We had nuts flying everywhere. That part was better than eating them the three of them decided. We had a great evening of CRAKIN NUTS!!!!

Jessica's Origami

While I was out in Utah my sister made me beautiful origami ornaments. I don't know how she does it but I do know it takes TONS of folds and PAPER! WOW!!!! She is really talented at making origami. I am so grateful she shares her talent with my family and I. I love them! Most of all it was hard to say goodbye but she will always be in my heart!!!

Danielle and Brian's Wedding

I was so blessed to be able to attend Brian and Danielle's Wedding. I had a wonderful time being out in Utah and most of all I LOVED being with my sisters along with my Dad and Mom. Just I went this time so Mike stayed home with the kids. I flew out Thursday night and returned Sunday night. I am also grateful that he took such great care of the kids and was able to miss a day of work so I could be with my sister.
After she was married I was able to walk through Temple Square with my Sisters and parents. We loved every moment. It was beautiful to see all the Christmas lights. The only funny part was it was pouring rain and at my house it was snowing. I thought it was suppose to be the other way around???? So I was bummed not to see tons of snow. When I went home our snow had already melted.
I had the best feeling here at the Salt Lake Temple because this is where Mike and I were married. It was great to be back and think about my special day! Danielle's Wedding Day

Danielle and me!!! Sisters Forever!!

My Sister and me...missing one though...my oldest sister!

We had fun picking out our shirts to match and all the decorating!

Danielle did a great job of the colors and all the decorations!

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving this year we invited two families over along with a sister. We had a blast and tons of food. Everyone brought their favorite dishes and we had a great time. We visited, played Monopoly, and the kids played. We are so thankful for the friends we have made here. There are wonderful.

Our Kerestes tradition every Thanksgiving is we fill this tree up with lots of yummy snacks to enjoy all day long. This tree belonged to me, my mom, and her mom. It has been through 3 generations of Thanksgiving.

Fall BOYS

Fall BOYS

I just love these fall pictures of Kody and Kamden. Our favorite Season is FALL. It is just beautiful here. The air is cool crisp and we love all the leaves. This morning Kody and Kamden went on a bike ride and then just enjoyed the sun kissing their cheeks. So adorable.
