Kody Playing Soccer
Kyle's big night for SCOUTS
Congratulation's Kyle...tonight you received your WOLF badge after only being in Scouts for 4 months. Kyle you love scouts and especially passing off achievements to earn badges. It helped this summer going to Wyoming and Colorado. We did so much between rock hunting, camping, and Grandpa Cottrell was a huge help. He did so much with Kyle to earn his marble beltloop and pin along with rock collecting, cooking hotdogs outside around a fire, fishing, playing sports, and much more. For a total of 6 beltloops and 6 pins! So congratulations Kyle and keep up all your hard work with MOM! We sure do love you and are proud of you!
Happy Birthday Mike
This year for Mike's Birthday we decided to deck out his car while he was working at VOLVO. The night before the kids and I planned everything out. The next day Kody, Kamden, and I went to work. We stuffed his car with 75 balloons, treats, gum,, and cards. The outside we wrote on his window, put streamers, and a banner to wish him a HAPPY BIRTHDAY! We love you Mike and just wanted to make sure you had a HAPPY 34th Birthday! Love ya.....Love ya!
He was for sure surprised when he came out to head home!

Summer Memories
This summer we were surrounded with family members who helped us create a summer to always remember. We did so much this summer as a family from Kyle's Baptism, Kerestes Family Reunion, the Cottrell Family Reunion, Camping in the Colorado Mountains, and our big drive out West to Wyoming. We had a great time together as a family and will always remember the small and simple things. We will never forget the smiles on our children's faces and we loved listening to their laugher. There is no better way to share your summer than with the ones you love the very most!
Fishing Pond

To top all the fun off Grandma, Grandpa, and Jessica had the biggest FISHING POND ever for the grandkids and even the BIG kids. The kids FISHED AND FISHED for amazing prizes. They HOOKED them up and spent a lot of time organizing this for the kids. They loved it and had so many smiles and lots of laughter. They put all their prizes in a bag to carry around camp and play with. My kids loved it and kept them good while we drove back 30 hours. They ate the candy and played with all the toys. It was a huge hit at the Kerestes home so THANKS a million for doing the FISH POND! WHAT A BLAST!
Colorado LOVE
Cottrell Reunion Picture
WOW! We were all able to get together for a weekend in the Rocky Mountains to go camping together. Kevin and Rebecca did all the planning. I tell you what what a GREAT job they did. It could of never been any better. WE all had a BLAST! They had everything planned out from fishing, hiking to 2 lakes, seeing a water fall, hanging out to visit, and even went to TELLURIDE. They cooked us the BEST food I have ever had when camping. We ate burritoes, blueberrie pancakes, bacon, hamburgers, beans, salad, french bread, chips, hotdogs, and lots of smores. We came home very full but WOW so YUMMY! Thanks a million for a wonderful time we will never forget!
Colorado Camping Pictures
After our stay in Wyoming we drove to Colorado Rocky Mounatains to meet together at the Cottrell Family Reunion! We had a blast.

She even gave all her neices and nephews a camping bag full of snacks, notebook, markers, snickers, and stencils to keep track of all their fun camping memories. My house in Wyoming

It was really special to be able to take our family to Grandpa and Grandma's house and have it be the house I grew up in my whole life. It brought back so many wonderful memories of my childhood and now I am bringing my own family here. Not much has changed in the little town of Lyman. It still looks the same with a few new stores and buildings but not much. There was also a few new people and what amazed me was how time had made everyone change and grow up. My friends are now married having families of their own. It was so neat to bring my children and husband here to show them where I grew up. Thanks so much Mom and Dad for a wonderful childhood and great memories on our Wyoming vacation!
Fishing with Grandpa in Wyoming
Fishing in Wyoming with Grandpa Cottrell!

I know I have the world's Best Dad ever! Thanks so much for all your patience taking 4 kids under the age 11 fishing for the whole day. It takes someone special to unhook the fish, put worms on, fix snags, and untagle the line. Only you could do this one! Thanks DAD!

I just wish I had on tape the excitement of each one of our children everytime they caught a fish. They would all start yelling and jump around with excitement. We won't mention Kallee stepping on a huge pile of cow poop either. Having it so big it went all the way up your pant leg. But don't worry I did the same thing when I was your age when I went fishing with my dad! But we enjoyed the day and will never forget the smiles put on the faces of Kallee, Kyle, Kody, and Kamden. The small and simple things in this life really do matter!Fishing in Wyoming
Our kids have been looking forward to fishing with Grandpa for a very long time. There hopes and dreams weren't shattered either. They had the best time fishing with Grandpa. He knew exactly where to take them fishing to. They each caught several fish. I lost track of how many everyone caught after 12 but they did great and had a wonderful time. We even ate up in the mountains when we decided to take a break from fishing.

Natural Corrals
We couldn't wait to do Fireworks in Wyoming because there is NO RULES so we stopped in Evanston and we bought a good collection of them to pop! The kids picked out awesome ones and even Jessica bought some beautiful fireworks. We had a lot of fun watching and popping fireworks.
