Memorial Weekend Camping Bear Tree Campgound

Toughest bike ride of my life!!! Mike and I decided to ride up the Virginia Creeper and then back down.  It was 17 miles straight up a hill and back down another 17 miles.  It took us just a little longer than 3 hours.  But once I made it all the way down, I was so proud of myself.  It goes to show that we can do hard things!

What camping in the woods does to you especially after way to many campfire s'mores!!!  You let loose and go crazy!!! These memories will never be forgotten. Families are Forever and I love mine!

Talk about cute! As we were hiking Kody all the sudden pulled over and layed down.  We all just started laughing at our cute Kody!  He does say the funniest things!

 Bentlee may be big but he still thinks he is Kallee's lap dog! Ha Ha Ha...Snuggling around the nighttime campfire under the stars.

Memorial Weekend Camping Bear Tree Campground

 Kallee and Kamden enjoying camping on a beautiful day.

 Our Family rode our bikes down the Virginia Creeper which is a 17 mile bike ride.  Kody was a little beast!  He never wanted to stop and take a break.  He was just determined to make it all the way down.  Once down he was so tired.  We stopped at our favorite ice cream shop and  within about 15 minutes after his ice cream he fell asleep in my arms. Kamden was Dad's best co pilot he could ever have.  He held on tight and enjoyed the ride. Kallee and Kyle flew down and had a good time. Kyle wished there was a few more mud puddles to ride through but still enjoyed it.

We also went for a 7 mile hike for a day.  We woke up and ate a big breakfast over the fire.  Dad made eggs, bacon, and pancakes.  Then we packed a lunch and headed out.  Our dog Bentlee always had to be in the lead but would stop look back and wait for us to catch up.  Once we make it back he fell asleep and didn't move for the rest of the evening.  It was so funny.  We have never seen him so tired.  We all had to admit it was very nice!!! We had a wonderful hike and enjoyed laughing together.
