Along with Christmas comes lots of good cooking! Our family loves to make candy, cookies, and lots of special things that we only make at christmas time. This year mom didn't quite get as much baked because she had the pneunonia (hope I spelled that right). She had to be in the hospital and it took a few days to recover. But once she was up we baked as much as we could. One of our tradition's is we make a birthday cake for Jesus Birthday. On Christmas day we put candles in it and sing Happy Birthday to Jesus. The kids love doing this because this is what Christmas is all about!
Kody's most favorite treat at Christmas is dipping homemade peanut butter balls and pretzels into yummy chocolate. He sat up at the table and helped me dip until we ran out of chocolate. He is a very picky eater but let me tell you.....He loves this. He ate so much we thought he would have a belly ache. But instead he ran around and could hardly wait for Santa to come!
