Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving this year we invited two families over along with a sister. We had a blast and tons of food. Everyone brought their favorite dishes and we had a great time. We visited, played Monopoly, and the kids played. We are so thankful for the friends we have made here. There are wonderful.

Our Kerestes tradition every Thanksgiving is we fill this tree up with lots of yummy snacks to enjoy all day long. This tree belonged to me, my mom, and her mom. It has been through 3 generations of Thanksgiving.

Fall BOYS

Fall BOYS

I just love these fall pictures of Kody and Kamden. Our favorite Season is FALL. It is just beautiful here. The air is cool crisp and we love all the leaves. This morning Kody and Kamden went on a bike ride and then just enjoyed the sun kissing their cheeks. So adorable.

Kamden's Birthday

Our Baby Kamden has turned 3! We can't believe it! How time flies when you are having a good time! But we had a family party for him and he was the star for the day. He felt so special and loved every moment.

Look at that great big Birthday Smile! We love you BABY Kamden and so grateful to have you in our life!

Operation Elf

This Christmas for Primary we launched Operation Elf for our Colfax Ward and especially our Primary. What a touching experience our family had. Our Primary decided to help the Battered Women's and Children's Shelter. They were in need of many items and especially toys for Christmas.
So I called my sister Jessica in Wyoming and she made 60 origami tags to hang on our Primary tree for each Primary child to choose an origami off the tree to take home purchase the item wrap the gift return to primary and then hang their origami ornament on their tree to remember they gave at Christmas time.
After we let the Primary children we opened it to the whole ward. Let me tell you we received packages and packages. We loaded them up in our van and we dropped them off. They were so excited and couldn't believe how many packages we received. What a neat opportunity.
We also let each of our kids go shopping for a child. They picked out a gift and wrapped it all by themselves. We all learned the true meaning of Christmas.
I colored elf tags as well as the origami because we had so many people take the origami we needed more.

Here is our Operation Elf Christmas tree we had at our ward!

Special thanks to my sister who made 60 origami's for our tree and mailed them to me. We will never forget how much each child loved the origami along with all the adults. I even had adults call me for the patterns.

Another picture of our Origami Operation Elf when we first had it in the Primary room for all the children to choose first.

Two peas in a Pod Basketball

We had so much fun this season of Basketball. Both Kody and Kamden played together on a team. Let me tell you talk about adorable. They both stuck together and cheered each other on. Kody did great dribbling down the court and even made several baskets. Everyone complimented him on how amazing he was! He really did great. Kamden was just to cute and we loved watching him play defense. He moved his feet and had his hands out. He also did great.
