Bear Tree Campground

Kamden did great on his first hike of the season! He was super cute while he was walking he was talking up a storm using his imagination. He would pick up sticks for guns and shoot trees and all sorts of things. It was great and super funny!

Bear Tree Campground/VA Creeper

Our family decided to do some early camping for the season so we choose BEARTREE which was the nicest campground we have seen yet. Even better we were the only one's in the whole campsight the first night. WOW did we like that and only a hand full over the weekend. But it had great bathrooms, great hiking trail, a beach by a lake, a playground, and the campsight was roomy and nice! We loved it here!!! Kamden super excited for our first camping trip after WINTER! He was smiling the minute he stepped out of the truck until we left. Then the frown came and he was determined it wasn't time to go home yet! He had a BLAST!

A picture taken infront of a huge tree stump that fell down on our hike!

OK so everything was perfect but the weather. We decided to go in MAY because soon it will be to HOT! So every weekend so far the weather was perfect. But this weekend took a COLD Spell and wow we were cold. It was in the 30's at night and we were excited when it hit low 40-50 during the day. But we just bundle up and went with it. Of course the boys didn't even seem to mind. They still found the beach dirt to be fun to play in and make a huge dam!

Kamden and mom sitting infront of the fire to warm up! Mom though was so happy to be where she loves to be and with the people she loves most!

For Kallee's gymnastics the parents are required to do 12 hours of volunteer work or you have to pay for every hour left unvolunteered. So after I have crocheted flipflops, worked setting up at a meet, I still needed some hours. So I made 80 invitations for the girls and coaches for the end of year banquet. This is what I came up with. I had lots of fun and the boys helped me load them up in the truck and deliver them to the gym. They even helped me pass them out to the girls. Kallee really liked hers. GO KART-WHEELIN KALLEE!

Lasting Memories

While I was getting our lunch ready I found our sweet little boys on our lazy boy with these cute hats on. I took several pictures because they were being adorable. I just love these pictures of them. They really make me smile! There is nothing greater than a child's SMILE!

Colfax Primary

Both Senior and Junior Primary made these for their mom's on Mother's Day! I cut the flowers with my cricut and Kyle helped me drill holes in the plastic cups to hold the popsicle sticks. We had fun and thought they turned our really cute.
Our scripture jar is full and we must celebrate! I made these sleeping bag invites for all the Primary Children to celebate! We ate lots of ice cream in our PJ's and snuggled up in our sleeping bags while watching a movie! The Primary kids looked so cute especially mine!

I made these egg invites for all the Primary Children to invite them to our Primary Egg Hunt! Kallee and Kyle helped me fill 1200 eggs. After the hunt we made a craft and ate bird nest cookies!

Easter

We made a fun Easter/Spring Treat to eat! The kids loved eating the caterpiller!

Easter

Kyle has so much fun at Easter Time finding as many eggs as he can. We went to a Baptist church egg hunt, our own church egg hunt, High Point Recreation Egg Hunt (which was rained out but they still gave the kids eggs), and our family back yard egg hunt.
Look at all the eggs Kody found!

Kerestes Family at the Baptist church egg hunt. We had a blast! They had the best egg hunt then followed with tons of games for the kids to play. We couldn't believe the prizes they where handing out. They also fed everyone lunch for free! We really had a fun time and everyone was super friendly. We received the invite in the mail and the church is about 3 miles from our house so we went and had a great day!

Kallee and I made these cute PEEPS for school. We had fun and thought they turned out cute!

Kody and Kamden helping Mom make Bird Nest for her Primary Church Egg Hunt! Kyle, Kallee, and I filled about 1200 eggs for our HUNT. It turned out super fun. All the kids found eggs, made a easter craft, and then ate bird nest cookies. So much fun! We love PRIMARY at our house!
