Air Show

Air Show In North Carolina

For our first weekend in North Carolina we decided to go to the air show! WOW! It was awesome. The kids just loved seeing all the planes and especially how loud they where. Kody's favorite part was "They went to FAST!" Kamden's favorite part was "Saying the word plane plane plane!" Kyle's was "How loud and how fancy they were. I couldn't believe how decked out they were with bombs and missiles." Kallee's favorite, "Doing more pull ups on the armies pull up bar than all the boys! I even won a way cool football for my brothers. They asked me how did I get so strong and I said GYMNASTICS! If gymnastics was easy it would be called FOOTBALL!" We had a wonderful day seeing all the planes!

Our new Kelso home

A lot of you have been asking for pictures of our new home. So here they are. We will add pictures to our blog after we have done some painting and putting in new light fixtures. We looked at over 25 different houses and this is the one. A very funny story though is this was the one house that I told Mike absolutely not. I first walked in and said a definite no. He actually really liked it and said to put it on his maybe list. But me NO WAY! After looking at all 25 houses I went home to Virginia and did lots of praying. This house kept coming back to me and I said ,"NO WAY!" But the prompting kept coming back and told me to go look at it again. I did. I drove all the way down and said MAYBE but it's not the one. I went home again and had the same prompting again. I went down a third time and said a pray in the house. This was the one. I can't tell you how strong the feeling came. Not in any of the other 24 houses did I feel this way. But I knew it was the one.

I only felt this way because it was HUGE but very plain and needed some work. We need to change out all the gold lights and fixtures and do lots of upgrades. But after I thought about it I grew very excited because of the size and the neighborhood is amazing. I love it! The house is also super amazing to be so big. We are coming from a 1740 Square foot house so this will be fun. It does not have a basement but I will get over it. About only 95% of the houses here in High Point do. But I can't wait to do some work and make it our new own home.

It will be fun to do some projects with Mike. Boy will he ever have a HUGE HONEY TO DO LIST! Yikes. I bet he just can't wait. No not really he loves to do projects with me and he is very good.

But take a look and we will show more pictures soon!

Our new Kelso Home in North Carolina

Here is our big kitchen. We thought we would show you some before we paint over 3500 square feet and then we will show you the after pictures. But we are excited to paint and have 25 gallons of paint to put on our walls. Thanks goodness that Grandpa and Grandma Kerestes are coming to help us out. Thank goodness for them. We could never do it along with all of our sweet children. We are ready and will begin on Sept. 17th when we close!
Here is a side view of the outside of our house!

Our crazy but blessed life!

Here is a funny story for you! Our life has been super crazy with this move because to complicate everything Mike has to do training up in Allentown Pa for 6-8weeks and then would be able to come to Greensboro with us. It is very complicated with our whole move because we are buying a house before even our has sold plus I am living in a temp apartment while Mike is in a hotel, and we still have our house in Viriginia. But we only did this crazy move because we really wanted our kids to start school here with the rest of the kids. I actually missed the first day by one day. We got a contract our house but it took me over 4 hours to be approved for our children to be in school here in North Carolina. It was tough. But we actually sent our kids to school in Virginia there first day they started because it was a Wednesday and we didn't even have a contract on another house or any temp housing in North Carolina. Schools in North Carolina started on the following Tuesday. But we went down on Thursday and over the weekend had a house contract and temp housing. A true miracle to be able to pull everything off. So we just laugh because this day was their first and last day at belview school in Virginia. Now they are going to school in North Carolina and seem to be enjoying it! I hope that makes some sense but if only you knew how crazy everything was then maybe you would understand. But we have been super super blessed. We give our thanks!
