Happy Birthday Jesus!

This year Santa started a new tradition at our house and Kody helped. He had to see Santa this year 5 different times at the mall. He couldn't get enough of Santa. He still thinks he is the coolest guy ever because he brought him so many presents! Well here is the story....One morning I took him to the mall with Kamden. After he sat on Santa's lap Santa asked Kody "Will you do one thing for me on Christmas morning?" Kody said, "What?" Santa said, "Well whose birthday is it?" Kody said ,"Jesus." Santa then had Kody promise Santa that on Christmas morning he would sing Happy Birthday to Jesus. So that's when we thought we would take Kody to Walmart and pick out a cake to sing Happy Birthday to Jesus! Here is the yummy cake Kody picked out and yes they are eating it on Christmas day!
Our kids loved singing Happy Birthday to Jesus and all taking turns blowing out the candles. We will carry this tradtion with us again! Thanks to Kody and Santa at the mall. What a cool idea!

Eating some Christmas snacks and then going to eat some yummy birthday cake!
Happy Birthday Jesus! We are so grateful to have you in our life and we are so thankful to celebrate this time of year. We will always remember the true meaning of Christmas throughout the year!

Christmas Morning is finally here!

Christmas Morning is finally here!

Christmas Eve Program

Every year after the program the kids each make a sign with their name on it for Santa. Then they pick a special spot in our living room where they want Santa to put all their gifts! They also made reindeer food and sprinkled it outside so the reindeer could have a snack while Santa was busy. They also layed out a plate of cookies and milk for Santa!
This year for the Christmas program Kyle sang the song Dashing through the Snow with a story book! We loved hearing him sing and he has a beautiful voice!

Every since Kallee could read she has sang the song The 12 Days of Dogs! Each year she does a wonderful job and the boys just loved this song. They laughed and laughed and thought it was the funniest song ever!

Christmas EVE

Christmas Eve at our house is just as fun as Christmas! We love spending this day together as a family and preparing for Christmas Day! We do lots of baking and playing on this special day. This year Kallee planned our Christmas Eve Program and dinner! She did a fabulous job and everyone participated. We acted out the Nativity Scene which is everyone's favorite part!
Kallee was Mary, Kyle was Joseph, Kamden was Baby Jesus, Kody was a Shepherd, Dad was a wise man and always (the donkey that Kallee rides), and Mom was a angel.

Every year the kids get to open one package from Mom and Dad! Their new Pajamas to wear!

Here is the cool program Kallee made on the computer for our Christmas Eve Program! Thanks Kallee you did a great job!

Christmas Eve

Can you belive this?

We have never been so excited to wake up and have it snowing! This just made our day! We moved here hearing how it never snows! So it did this just for us! Kallee, Kyle, Kody, and Kamden couldn't have been any happier! I can't tell you how many times Mike and I put on all their winter gear. They were in and out playing in all the snow. Even Mike and I went out to have some fun with our kids. We all had a blast! We just wish it would do it again! Bring us some more SNOW!
