We went for a family drive after the tornado the next day.
A lot of the streets were blocked off from traffic but
A LOT of homes looked like this one with the big BLUE TARP
on top. We are not sure how many home were affected but we know a lot had to be. We saw many house without roofs and missing shingles.
We have only seen these pictures on the NEWS but never in real life. It is a horrible feeling and you feel so bad for all those who were affected. But it really puts things into perspective and we are SUPER glad for the gospel. We tried to explain to the kids how everything that was damaged is worldly items and not eternal items.What a miracle that no one was majorly injured or even lost life. How important it is to hold to the rod and make right choices because eventually all our worldly
possessions will stay behind and we will only be able to take with us who we are and what we have become. Our families goal is to all make it back to our eternal father so we will be together forever.
