Bandits Roost in North Carolina (Camping)

Camping in July!!! Kallee and Kyle's fish Philip they caught in the water with their hands. OK...so it was pretty much dead! But they tried so hard to save its life! They caught this guy right from our campsite.

Camping at Bandit's Roost was the coolest campsite yet! We were all alone! You walked down to get to it but the spot was huge and we had no neighbors. We also were able to walk right down to the lake. It was just a few yards away from our tent! There was also a basketball court, great playground, and mom loved the hot showers!

There was lots of little critters this time probably because it was so hot! Everyday was in the low 90's with humidity. But the night dropped down to low 70's. We did it! Our first camping in July with the heat! It was tough at times we couldn't hike as much as we wanted to but we did tons of water activities. We just stayed in our swim suits all day and swam! We drove the boat out in the lake and we would all jump in! We even went to the beach which was great!

Everything worked out great and we will do it again!

We just love being together as a family and spending good quality time together. We love sitting around the fire and just talking to each other. We laugh together, play together, and eat tons of good food!

We were so thankful our friends borrowed us his fishing boat! It was a lot of fun crusing around the lake! Mom's favorite part was jumping out of it and swimming in the lake! Believe it or not we didn't see a single snake this time?? Explain that one!!! But we are not sad trust me!! Mom was very happy!
