Kallee marching in 4th July Parade

Kallee's gymnatic's team each year participates in the Blacksburg parade. The boys just love waving to their big sister! This year she passed out candy to all the kids which she loved. She did do a round off back tuck on the pavement which took a huge chunk out of her hand. The crowd of course thought it was way cool but I don't think she will try that one again. OUCH!
Here is her famiy cheering her on as the parade passed by!

We love the 4th of July. Each year we look forward to this special day. We are so grateful to live here in America and truly it is beautiful. We loved going to the Statue of Liberty in June which made this holiday all the more special along with ground zero. We are grateful to be a family and share this day together. We had lots of fun starting off with the pancake breakfast in the morning, the parade in the afternoon, baseball game in the evening, and then the big firework show late at night at Christiansburg High School. Thanks to all the men and women who make this holiday possible. God Bless America!

Ward 4th July Activity

We had so much fun this morning of the 4th. Our ward had a pancake breakfast, program, and a children's parade. We WON for the best decked out family! The kids won bubbles and popcorn for the firework show at night. How cute is that and they were so excited to win. I do have to admit they were very cute and looked awesome for the parade. I love you guys so much and have so much fun dressing you guys up along with all the cool decorations! Love ya!

America the Beautiful

Kody's Make Over

You guessed it right! Kallee did Kody's hair and he loved it. He wants to be just like big sister. Mom wishes Kallee would like MOM doing her hair as much as Kody loves having his hair done. Everyday he makes sure I put mousse and gel in it along with hairspray. Then of course, we have to finish with some of DAD'S cologne. He makes sure no one messes it up too. Watch out for good lookin Kody!
We love you little buddy. You are finally talking and love to play with balls. You are going to make it to the NBA with all your practicing you do. Keep having fun with all those balls. He does like playing toys as well but nothing like basketball.

The saddest picture

I think this is the saddest picture not because of the mess but because of Kamden's face. He was so scared and felt so bad. But I was super excited because I didn't have to cut the watermelon which I don't like to do. So he just made my life so much easier.

Here is the story of the watermelon. I sat the watermelon and Kamden on the counter so we could cut it up for lunch. I turned around to get a knive and a plate when I heard Kamden say"BALL!" Then it plopped to the ground and exploded. I don't think he has ever seen an exploding ball like this before.

We love you and thanks for giving us a huge laugh for the day!

Mike's Father Day Surprise

Mike had a Father's Day he will never forget along with his family. On this day he was called to be 2nd counselor in the Bishopric. His family was so excited and the kids were celebrating. They now could watch Dad up on the stage conducting and share his testimony. We are proud of him to be worthy for this calling and know he will do a great job. He will touch many people's lives! We love you Daddy!

At least he got a suit of out of this! He didn't even own one. He had fun picking this suit out. The kids picked out his tie all by themselves! After his mission they were all worn out! You looked so nice!

We love you!

Kallee's Gymnastic Medals

Kallee one afternoon counted all her gymnastics medals. She has a total of 73 medals WOW! You go GIRL! Here is the breakdown for each level! Level 4: 20, Level 5: 18, Level 6: 16 and one trophy, Level 7:19. This year her goal is to win more medals. I was amazed how many she has. She hangs them from a gymnastic shelf in her bedroom. But this is what she told me. "Mom, I like all my medals
and I am proud of my accomplishment but, they are only medals and I can't take them to heaven." I was so proud of her because there has been different meets where she has chosen not to compete on Sunday. We know she has been blessed because of this choice. We love you Kallee and keep up all the hard work.
