Dinosaurs at the ZOO
This fall I bought a zoo membership. So Kamden couldn't hardly wait to go because they had a dinosaur exhibit. Kamden has always loved dinosaurs. Everytime we go to the library he knows right where the dinosaur books are. He always brings home a stack.
This is Kamden and my first time a lone together. Last year I homeschooled Kallee but this year she was ready to go back. The year before that I still had Kody home with me. He misses Kody but loves all the mommy time. I think I enjoy the one on one time more. I know this is my last year with one at home. I'm going to enjoy it to the fullest.
My boys playing soccer
Soccer this Fall with Kody and Kamden was really fun. Because they are so close in age they were able to be on the same team. Their dad even coached them. I can't even begin to tell you how cute they were out on the field. They couldn't have been any prouder out on that field. Usually, in the past I have tried different sports with Kamden and he just cries. I always have to go out and play with him until he is comfortable enough. But not this time. He would just float along the grass with the biggest smile ever!
Kody now out smarted me....right before a game he asked me if every goal he makes if I will give him a dollar. I said sure because he never ask for anything and is saving his money up for something. But that was a big mistake. I'm broke now...he made 20 goals in 7 soccer games. He was so proud.
Kamden rocked at defense and wherever Kody was there was Kamden. They were called the TWIN TOWERS. So adorable.
Hunting Beach Camping
This September we went with the Greene Family from church to Hunting Beach Campground. It was our family's first beach camping. It was awesome. The campground was right on the beach and yes I still had my awesome bathrooms along with a hot running water shower. Now that is my camping! Sweet!
We arrived Thursday afternoon and played hard until Sunday morning. We all had a wonderful time. Our four kids had a blast with Mary Beth and James Greene. They swam, dug, and even hunted for shells. We ate tons of great food and Mike even ate some fresh shrimps around the camp fire.
The most funny story is of course Kyle....We are all sitting around the fire late at night just chatting. All the sudden something in the fire exploded and stuff flew out. Bro. Greene jumps up and was like what the heck was that??? Mike knew right then by the look on Kyle's face that he was guilty. SO Mike says Kyle would did you do? Kyle says I put a dead battery in the fire. It was so scarey and we were so glad that nobody was hurt. I am not kidding that when we go camping my boys put everything in the fire including dead flashlight batteries. We sure had a good laugh afterwards and we will never forget the battery exploding in the fire. BYW.....Do you know where he got that brilliant idea??? Believe it or not....his dad tried it once at a different camping trip. Yes it exploded and scared us all. We learned then maybe batteries aren't such a good idea. But it looks like Kyle just had to do it again!!! Yikes!!! He is for sure my silliest and funniest one.
But we had a great time and look forward to going to camp on the beach again someday!
Hunting Beach Campground
Our Family loves Light Houses...and there was one on our island that we camped at. We couldn't resist going inside and climbing all the stairs. It was worth the view. So beautiful over looking the ocean.
What can you find?

So can you see the Alligator. There was only 190 alligators on our island we camped at. Who would believe we would see one???? A girl all the way from wyoming(ME) only dreamed about seeing an alligator in the wild. But people in South Carolina act like its no big deal. They say we see those guys around here all the time. I'm like are you South Carolina's that crazy??? But then they say to me...we only dream about seeing a bear and moose. I just laughed....HA HA HA! I saw how many moose and bear's in my life. But I do admit I much rather see a moose any day than a alligator. I still think bear and moose are way cooler than alligators. Sorry all you gator fans!
