This is our first graduation from our new school ShadyBrook. It was hard to leave behind our little tiny school in Christiansburg because it was so personal but we all had a wonderful experience here. We just can't believe we are saying good-bye to teachers and friends. But his school had a wonderful graduation program for both Kallee and Kyle. They each received awards and had snacks afterwards. We were all super impressed.
Kallee with her 5th grade friend. Kallee missed her friends in Christiansburg, VA but she is so out going and friendly she made new friends. She enjoyed her teacher Mr. Kirkland and can't believe 5th grade is all over!
Here is a picture of Kyle putting on a play for his 2nd grade graduation. It was adorable and of course we loved watching Kyle. He is the sweetest 2nd grader by far!
This picture you have to play I spy with Kyle but if you look real hard he is there!A hint....just look for the cuttest boy!
Kyle holding his award for making the 100 club which he had to do all his facts under 5 minutes for both addition and subtraction. Kyle told me that was the easiest award he has ever earned. He wanted them to do multipulcation and division facts.
Leave this award to KYLE but each 2nd grade class with the teacher picked out one student who they thought was the biggest peacemaker for the year. They all wrote down a name of who they thought it should be and Kyle by far had the most votes for his class and teacher. So at graduation they awarded him with this trophy. Way to go Kyle! What a neat accomplishment to be named the Peacemaker for the year!
