Julian's Campground NC

While on our 5 mile hike we wanted to do some fishing especially Kyle. Well, we had done a good 3 miles hadn't seen anything yet. We were getting worried the map was wrong about fishing. Kyle was so excited and had carried both poles for 3 miles. So we turned a corner and sure enough finally the small streams led to a river. So walked for a while until we spot the best fishing spot!!! There was a small break off of the trail we were on but it wasn't very good and it looked tough to get down. But boy did mom and dad want to get to it. So we said we can always try it and if we can't get it we will climb back up.

So Mom and Kyle went first to check things out. Well, you know Mom she thought she would go down on her belly for some reason and the only thing that stopped her was a very sharp rock. Boy, did that leave a nice beauty mark.

But when we thought we were down we still had to climb over a rock to get to the fishing hole. Well, of course the rock had to have rapids right below it and be covered in moss. So myself and the kids went higher up over the rock but Mike decided he wouldn't fit above the rock with all the bushes so he was so WISE to go right over the rock. Well, that didn't work to great and he about fell into the rapids. He slipped and just about went in but grabbed hold of some branches!

But we did all make it to our awesome hole!
