Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day at the Kerestes Home! I woke up Sunday morning and made everyone a Valentine's Breakfast. I made strawberry milk and pink heart shaped pancakes. I love you guys!
Also this year, I sewed over 75 felt kisses for the kids to stuff with hershey kisses, jolley ranchers, and a little toy to pass out to church, school, gymnastics, friends, and Kyle's basketball team. We had a lot of fun doing this!

Kody and Kamden decided we needed to have a friend Valentine Party at our house. So we decorated our house with Valentine's decor, invited friends, made yummy food, played games, and even planned a craft for our party. The boys had a blast and I know we will be doing this all over again next year.

Winter Fun Memories

Super Bowl

The super bowl at the Kerestes House was a little split. You all probably know I do not watch a lot of sports....well O.K. hardly any but I do like the Colts. I had been cheering them on for this last season. So when I found out they made it to the Super Bowl I was pretty excited. So I decided to have a Colt Super Bowl party. But Kyle cheered against the Colts and it was a good thing he did. Because the Colts ended up losing and so Kyle went to bed with a great big SMILE on his face. We had fun though watching and cheering together. Hopefully, next year the Colts will make it again but this time not end up losing. GO COLTS!!!!!!!!!!!

Fish named Stake (Kyle)
Once upon a time there was a fish called Stake. He loved to grill steak but one time he didn't have any fish so he went fishing and put the fishing pole in his mouth and he caught tons of fish. And we went home and ate all the fish and then he was tired. The End.

Baptism (Kyle)
Baptism ....how to get baptism. You get baptism when you are eight. I am seven I just got to wait tell my next Birthday. If you got Baptism how did you feel? Good or Excellent? I can't wait to get baptism. Did you get the Holy Ghost? I can't wait to get the Holy Ghost. Do you?

Gymnastics Rocks (Kallee)
Gymnastics is hard for many people. There are not many people that can do gymnastics. There are four events floor, beam, vault, and bars. My favorite event is floor because you get to tumble. My least favorite event is vault because you run and jump over the table. It is hard. That is why gymnastics ROCKS!

Love One Another (Kallee)
We should always love one another. Loving one another is important. A couple ways you could show someone you love them is by cleaning their room, helping them with whatever they need or even watch your brothers and sisters. One of the most popular way people show love is by giving hugs and kisses to each other. Love is very important. Showing love to people tells them that you care about them. One of the best parts of showing love is that the person you are showing love to will show love back to you! You can show love not just to your family. You may show love to your friends too. You should show lots of love to your famly. Just try to remember to show lots of love.

Kallee and Kyle's Poems and goals

Kallee and Kyle both love to write different poems so I thought I would share them with you because I thought they were very fun, cute, and imaginative. I always need an extra smile so here is one for you!

Animals (Kallee)
There are many kinds of animals. Some live in water and some live on land. There are mammels and not mammels. Some animals eat meat others eat vegetables. There are even animals that eat both. Animals live all over the world. Animals can be different colors. For example an iguana changes colors. Some animals give us food. Animals are amazing.

My parents are committed (Kallee)
My parents are committed to each other, work and to our family. My parents are committed to our family. They help us with our homework. They make us food. They clean the house and take me to gymnastics. My parents are committed to work. My dad goes to work to make money. Mom watches Kody and Kamden. My dad goes to work every day except Sunday and Saturday. They work hard. My parents are committed to each other. Without them we would not be here right now. With out them we would be not be in this wonderful school. That is why my parents are committed to our family, work, and to each other.
