When we go camping we always cook everything over the fire. We do a hot breakfast and a hot dinner. We do lunch because it is to hot and we are usually hiking during lunch. But Mike is getting super good at cooking with his dutch oven. He loves to cook eggs, bacon, pancakes, and sausage for breakfast. Our favorite dinners are tin foil packs, Camping haystacks, Sloppy Joes, Potato Au Gratin, Potato and bacon Spuds. This last camping trip he even cooked a cherry chocolate kiss cake. Oh wow it turned out perfect and was delious! You are amazing cook over the fire!
The boys of course love when dad cooks over the fire because they always start and keep the fire going. Of course, there favorite is to play in it! Burn sticks and anything they can find. If you are missing something you might want to ask the boys.
